Fees

The University College of Osteopathy is an exempt charity, with a mission to make osteopathy affordable and accessible to the whole community.

Our appointment fees are subsidised to keep them affordable for all. Several of our specialist and community clinics are also delivered free of charge to the patients, thanks to generous funding from our supporters.

*Payment for Associate Clinic fees are taken at the time of booking, not upon arrival. We operate a 24 hour cancellation policy. Appointments cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time will be refunded in full. Appointments cancelled after this time or non-arrivals will be subject to a charge of £25.

Concessionary fees

Concessionary fees apply to many groups such as the over 60s, full-time students and people receiving Carers and Disability Benefits, Income Support, Jobseekers Allowance, Rent Allowance or Universal Credit. Our clinic receptionists will be happy to advise whether you qualify. Please ensure that you bring proof of entitlement with you to each consultation so that our reception team can verify that you qualify for our concessionary fee. If you do not provide identification you will be charged the standard fee.

Community Partnership fees

The UCO Clinic runs a Community Partnership Scheme, offering discounted rates on clinic appointments to members of partner groups, organisations and businesses. For more information visit our Community Partnerships page. If you are unsure if you are entitled to a Community Partnership rate please check with your organisation or contact the clinic.

If you qualify for our community partnership rate please ensure that you bring your proof of entitlement with you to each consultation so that our reception team can verify the fee charged. If you do not provide relevant identification you will be charged the standard fee.

Other discounts

At certain times of the year we do also offer additional discounts on appointments. These are mainly student exam appointments, where students are formally assessed in clinic, which are offered at 50% of the normal rate. If you would like to be kept updated on special offers please sign up to our mailing list.

Refund policy

Although the UCO Clinic makes every effort to ensure that it fully meets the needs of patients, it is acknowledged that there will be times when patients may request a refund for appointments. We operate a Clinic Appointment Refund Policy to deal with such eventualities. This policy gives detail of the normal grounds under which refunds are given and explains the process of how to apply should you need to.
